What challenges have you faced?

Needless to say, every single brand faces difficulties. It's how you deal with the difficulties that matter.

For me, the hardest part has been finding the right partners to work with. The search has been a process of trial and error, which looks promising now. The clothing industry is a highly competitive industry where information isn't easily shared and some people love to underestimate the power of young women. Fortunately, I've found some likeminded people who want to make a change in the mindset of the industry.

Starting a clothing brand from scratch without previous experience hasn't been easy, but every setback teaches a lesson. Also, Covid-19 and the war has brought some additional spice to the process. Luckily, I've met some amazing people along the way who have offered help and encouraged me to continue pursuing my dream!

 

How a customer can support your brand if they can't afford the clothes?

We understand that since Vento is a premium brand, not everyone can afford our pieces. There are many ways to support our brand other than purchasing! We have listed some examples below:

- Tell a family member or a friend: If you love something, let your friends and family know! Usually when your friends recommend something, the tips are trusted. Chances are they'll love it just as much as you do!

- Sign up for our newsletter: By signing up for our newsletter, you let us know that you are interested in us! By subscribing, you are always the first to know about our launches and exclusive updates. Our email list allows us to speak directly to you, offer you exclusive discounts, and learn more about what you as a customer want from us! Overall, it's a small ask that brings big results for everyone involved.

- Write a review: A review about customer service or a beautiful product will make a difference. You can review our Facebook page or leave your review in our instagram comments or DM's! After purchasing a product, you will receive a review email through which you can review the products you have purchased - you can find all the reviews from our shop!

- Engage with us on social media: Engage with our posts and stories! Engagement can be a like, a comment, tagging a friend, sending a direct message, or sharing our post/story with your own followers and friends. Once Instagram knows our content is something people find valuable, it'll begin pushing it to the explore feeds of other users with similar interests. This helps us get found by people who may not even know we exist yet, which helps us grow!

- Post a pic: If you have purchased something from us, share a photo and tag us! Or if you haven't purchased already, you can share our posts or pieces you love. By sharing, more and more people hear about Vento!

 

Who designs the clothes?

I am in charge of designing the garments! I sketch out a garment and it's features and then together with the pattern maker, we start the sampling process. Each piece has been created whole heartedly with passion, from the design table to the finished product and all the way to your doorstep. 

 

How do you find the material for a garment?

Samples, samples, samples! You can't just order fabrics and hope they are good enough, you always have to see the fabric with your own eyes before you can make decisions! For example, we ordered dozens of samples to find the perfect linen fabric for our LUMI pieces. We searched for fabric suppliers for a long time before we found our current linen supplier from Lithuania!

 

When will there be new garments? I would love a dress!

We are currently working on our new collection! Hopefully the collection will be available during spring/early summer.
